Enhance Resident Comfort & Dignity
Proper incontinence care maintains resident dignity by ensuring cleanliness, privacy, and respectful assistance. Implementing scheduled toileting and prompt hygiene care reduces discomfort and promotes a sense of independence.
Prevent Infections & Skin Irritation
Regular product changes, skin checks, and the use of barrier creams help prevent UTIs, pressure ulcers, and rashes. Adopting evidence-based hygiene practices minimizes the risk of infection and enhances overall resident well-being.
Ensure Compliance with State Regulations
Adhering to Title 22 guidelines ensures facilities provide proper toileting assistance, maintain documentation, and prevent neglect-related deficiencies. Proper staff training and record-keeping help avoid citations while improving care quality.
